Oleshky completes first large evacuation operation under a local ceasefire
Civilians from the Russian-occupied city of Oleshky in Kherson region were successfully evacuated to Ukraine through Belarus after a humanitarian ceasefire secured by U.S. First Lady Melania Trump. The operation began on 30 October, with the last of four aircraft landing in Gomel on 31 October and evacuees subsequently crossing into Chernihiv region.
